Office of the Commissioner of Central Excise, Bangalore invites application for appointment to the following posts under Sports quota from sports persons active in Hockey or Cricket or Athletics or Kabaddi.
Post – Tax Assistant
- Graduation in any discipline
- Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
- Age Limit – 20 to 27 years
Post – Stenographer Grade II
- 12th class pass
- Should have skill test norm of Dictation : 10 minutes at 80 words per minute and Transcription : 50 minutes (English) and / or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computers
- Age limit – 18 to 27 years
The sports persons who are representing in the following competitions / tournaments shall be considered meritorious and are eligible for consideration
- A state / country in the National / International competitions
- A university in the Inter-University tournaments conducted by Inter-University Sports board
- State schools team in the National Sports / Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation
- Those who have been awarded National Awards in Physical efficiency under the Nationa Physical Efficiency Drive
